What’s your outlook on life? Is everything gloomy, depressing and dark? Are you struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel? Or maybe your vision is clear and enlightened, but you’re just struggling to see the next steps. Here are some daily practices that can help you keep your third eye clear, and your perception grounded:
Healthy sleep pattern—Sleep is so important, and the pineal gland (the third eye) works in accordance with the sun, producing serotonin and melatonin at sunrise and sunset respectively. Ensuring you have a consistent bedtime and wake up time, and synchronising your circadian rhythm with nature where possible will help keep your mind’s eye clear and focused.
Journalling—Yes, this was also a part of the throat chakra selfcare, but journalling also gives us clarity of mind as it helps us to not just communicate with ourselves, but to unpack and understand our thoughts, gain mental clarity and calm the mind.
Daily meditation – Meditation is you listening for GOD’s voice/instruction. Start with 5 minutes a day (try first thing in the morning or last thing at night, or maybe even on your lunch break) and increase the time as your focus grows. Meditation is all about awareness of ones thoughts and stilling the mind. Pay attention to the thoughts that come to mind during this time:
-What thoughts are yours? -What thoughts are the voices of others that attached to you? -What thoughts are passing energy that you’re absorbing?
Thoughts are energy and with so many interactions in our lifetime, not all our thoughts are ours.
